pyPDAF.PDAFomi.set_inno_omit_ivar()¶

Setting the inverse of observation error variance for omitted observations.

This should be set to a very small value relative to assimilated observations. By default, it is set to 1e-12.

This function is typically used in user-supplied function py__init_dim_obs_pdaf().

Parameters:

i_obs (int) – index of observations
inno_omit_ivar (float) – Inverse of observation variance for omiited observations
